International Steel Building Community

Update

The steel building industry has evolved at an incredible rate in a very short period of time. Everywhere you look steel buildings are going up. Pre-engineered steel buildings are replacing conventional wood/masonry structures in every segment of the construction industry. According to F.W. Dodge, in 1991, metal buildings systems accounted for over 56% of low rise commercial and industrial structures.

Internationally, raw materials and technology are limited. Our potential for assisting the International Community has never been greater. Mass production capabilities and tremendous material reserves enable us to maintain economical pricing without losing our quality standards.

As the steel building community becomes more cyberspace savvy and the Internet mass market phenomenon continues, our industry will meet the challenge and make the necessary technological changes to enable computer transactions and e-mail transfers daily standard operating procedures.

From my perspective, there has never been a day of greater opportunity. Our generation has shaped the world technologically more than any generation in the history of mankind. Let us go forward into the 21st Century seizing this opportunity with integrity. We will not only be concerned with dollar potential but will continually be looking to upgrade the quality and service needs of our ever increasing global community.
