A Legacy of Strength
Our roots trace back to our legacy partner, A&S Building Systems, Inc., founded in 1958 in Houston, Texas. Originally a fabricator of grain storage bins, A&S quickly expanded into the design and fabrication of pre-engineered metal systems for the commercial and industrial construction industry.

A&S Building Systems, Inc. was established as a fabricator of grain storage bins to serve the growing agricultural industry. What began as a local operation quickly gained a reputation for dependable steel fabrication and practical solutions.

Expansion into PEMBs
As demand for versatile, low-rise construction grew, A&S expanded into the design and fabrication of pre-engineered metal buildings. This transition positioned the company as an early innovator in a rapidly growing industry.

Caryville Plant Opened
To keep pace with national demand, a new manufacturing plant was built in Caryville, Tennessee. The facility increased production capacity and improved logistics for customers across the eastern United States.

Acquisition by Cornerstone
Cornerstone Building Brands, one of the largest suppliers of metal building products in North America, acquired A&S Building Systems. This acquisition brought new resources, scale, and technical expertise to the operation.
